Gene & Ole Anderson are stripped of the NWA World tag team titles for failure to defend them and a tournament is announced. In reality Ole Anderson jumped earlier from Jim Crockett Promotions to Georgia Championship Wrestling and had defended the titles there. Now Jim Crockett Promotions wants the titles back in their area.
